1. Opening the Letter

First of all, the letter you have received contains a plastic package that looks like the picture on the left.

This package should be sealed with an untamperable sticker with a unique number. The number is not recorded anywhere else.

This security feature provides evidence that your letter has not been replaced or yet revealed and mitigates the Man-in-the-Middle attack.

The pictures on the left show (i) an uncompromised sticker and (ii) a broken sticker to illustrate the difference.

As you can see, any attempt to tamper with the sticker results in the security of the letter being compromised.
